Our rates vary depending on services provided and are specific to each therapist based on experience, training, and expertise. Rates start at $175. Payment is due at the time services are rendered and a credit card is required to be kept on file with our secure EHR.

At the Center for Growth and Connection, we believe in providing a personalized service experience that is not dictated by restrictions imposed by third parties. Insurance companies frequently set limits on the number of sessions permitted and can even dictate what interventions are used. Additionally, working with insurance companies requires a diagnosis for the client that will remain in their medical record permanently.
Although we are not in network with any insurance companies, we can provide a Superbill upon request to submit for out-of-network benefits. It is the responsibility of the client to determine eligibility for benefits and any related deductibles. Please note that if you are using out-of-network benefits, a diagnosis that will remain a part of your medical record will be required. Full payment for services is required at the time services are rendered.

At the Center for Growth and Connection, each clinician determines their own cancellation policy. You will be fully informed of all policies prior to initiating treatment to make sure they are compatible with your needs.

On January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the "No Surprises Act" which requires health care providers to render a "Good Faith Estimate" (GFE) for private pay care (those who are not using insurance nor will seek reimbursement from insurance). The GFE works to show the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs. The estimate is based on information known at the time it is created and is good until January 1st of the following year. The GFE does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur and will be provided a new GFE should this occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill if you and your therapist have not previously talked about the change and you have not been given an updated GFE. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan, coverage, or a Federal health care program, or who are not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request, or at the time of scheduling health care items and services to receive a GFE of expected charges.

At the Center for Growth and Connection, we really care about our clients getting results. Whether we work together for six months or more than a year, we operate from the belief that it is our job to work ourselves out of a job. Our commitment to you is always to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.
-
At the Center for Growth and Connection, our clinicians bring a highly specific process where we focus in on what will bring the most relief or the issue that will bring the most change for you in your life. Our clinicians work collaboratively with you to identify what issues are most pertinent and really focus in on those areas. Often there are many areas clients want to work on but we’ve found it to be most effective to work on one area at a time. At times, using a more intensive approach allows us to move through relevant areas more quickly and bring greater relief with the process.

While not all clients are good candidates for Telehealth, thorough screening to determine suitability for telehealth increases the likelihood of effectiveness. For clients who prefer in-person appointments, limited slots are available.

At the Center for Growth and Connection our clinicians are trained in and informed by a number of evidenced-based, trauma-informed approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and more. Your clinician will work collaboratively with you to identify treatment goals and determine the most appropriate interventions to achieve those goals.

When working with couples, we use the evidence-based approach Emotionally Focused Therapy. In the first stage of the process, your therapist will explore the ways you get stuck, identifying negative patterns of interaction, and examining how each partner copes with distress in the relationship.
In the next stage, your therapist will guide each partner deeper into their emotional experiences and create new kinds of interactions that enhance the bond between partners. When relevant, your therapist may also help you explore injuries that have occurred in the recent or distant past and create reparative experiences.
In the final stage of the process, we leverage the greater connection experienced by the couple to explore new solutions to old problems.

The first step is to schedule a free, 20-minute consultation via Zoom which you can do so by clicking the Book a Consult Button anywhere on this page. Once you have selected a date, someone will follow up with a link to a questionnaire that you will need to complete prior to our consultation appointment. This questionnaire helps our clinicians be prepared for your appointment so that they can use the time together efficiently.
